Championship Rules

A community-driven championship centered on the passion for cricket, with no entry fees required.
The season commences on January 24th, 2026, and concludes on December 15th, 2026.
Registration is officially closed, with 13 elite teams securing their participation for HTC 2026.
Teams participate in a double round-robin format, playing every other team twice before November 15th, 2026.
The top four teams qualify for the playoffs based on total points and Net Run Rate (NRR).
Playoffs follow the IPL format: Qualifier 1 (Top 2), Eliminator (3rd vs 4th).
Qualifier 2 features the loser of Qualifier 1 against the winner of the Eliminator.
The Championship winners will be awarded the prestigious HTC Trophy.
Umpires will be provided for all playoff matches.
In playoff matches (Qualifier, Eliminator, and Final), only players who have played at least 50% of their team's league matches are eligible to participate.
After each league match, teams rate their opponent's fair play on a scale of 1-10. Teams with an overall average rating below 5 will be disqualified and banned from future seasons.
Teams enjoy flexible scheduling but must complete their full quota of league matches by November 15th, 2026.
Scoop bats are not allowed.
Matches to be played with Lazer Red Hard Tennis Ball.
Impact player substitute is allowed, similar to IPL rules.
